A Virtual "Loop" Around Bellport Featuring Brown's Lane and Livingston Road
Sit back, relax and enjoy a virtual "loop" of the dock from 10 years ago in August of 2006. Boy, video technology sure has changed a lot in 10 years! We’re sure you’ll enjoy looking back and in particular, you’ll enjoy the guitar playing of our good friend, Toby Walker.
A Trip Around Long Island's "East End"
The “East End” of Long Island is a wonderful area for
flying. From the air, it’s all green and blue. It’s hard to believe
we’re so close to New York City.
In May of 2009, I took a flight out to Montauk Point, past Gardiner’s Island, Sag Harbor, over to Shelter Island and Greenport and then back over Bellport, the dock, and Ho Hum Beach. Above are two nice shots of Bellport I took on the trip. Click on either to enlarge it. Then, click below to watch a video slideshow of my trip.
Winter in Bellport...
Nine years ago, back in January of 2007, the weather was very similar to the weather this year. Rather than the usual cold temperatures, the weather was mild and in the ‘60’s. We created the following video to tease the “Snowbirds” who had already left for warmer climates. We’re sure you’ll enjoy looking back and in particular, you’ll enjoy the guitar playing of our good friend, Toby Walker, and the bass playing of your Editor, Larry Sribnick.
