Award Winning Soups At PORTERS. PORTERS took second place at this year’s 10th Annual Long Island Chowder Contest. The contest was held on Saturday, February 7th at the Snapper Inn. PORTERS entered both their New England Clam Chowder and the Lobster Bisque and received second place for both soups. This is quite an honor, considering that restaurants all over Long Island were invited to compete.

"Winesdays" @ PORTERS. Wednesdays are now "Winesdays @ PORTERS on the lane" - $5 glasses of wine along with a new bottle special every week. Farmhouse cheeseboards are 1/2 price. Wednesdays will also featured Acoustic Live Music from Skip Bement.
Piano Bar Thursdays. Come down and see Henry Haid from the Broadway musical, "Movin' Out" every Thursday.

Winter Hours: Open 6 days a week for dinner. Closed on Mondays. Open at 5:00pm, except for Sunday when we open at 4:00pm.
