Historical Society's Exchange Shop Opens For the Season -
Thursday, May 23rd The Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society announces the seasonal opening of The Exchange Shop, charmingly known as "The Barn Museum Shop." Consignments of Furniture, Antiques, Decorative Accessories and Collectibles will be received each Wednesday morning from 10:00am until 12:00 noon beginning May 1st. The Exchange Shop will open for regular business hours Thursday, May 23rd, and be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am-to 5:00pm until Christmas. Come and visit this old fashioned country store just east of the Bicycle Shop and across from the old Bellport Fire House and catch up on all the local news! 12 Bell Street, 286-0888. Ho Hum Beach Ferry Begins
Weekend Service -
Saturday, May 25th The Bellport "Whalehouse Point" Ferry will kick off the summer beach season on Saturday, May 25th with its first trip of the summer to Ho-Hum Beach. The ferry will run on weekends through the end of June when it will add a weekday schedule. Click here for more information. |

The Bellport Garden Club is holding its annual Plant Sale on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm on the Village Green in front of CVS, South Country Road, Bellport Village. Offered for sale will be perennials, annuals and herbs, as well as gardening items. All plants for sale are grown by Garden Club members, and all proceeds from the sale will go to the Beautification Fund.
