Horse
and Eagle Gallery
Horse
and Eagle Gallery consists of artists: John DiNaro and Ginger Anderson.
They offer both
commercial art (murals, artistic benches, carousel horses), and fine art (our
personal one of a kind pieces). A common vision to create quality artwork is
what brings them together.
John
DiNaro captures the pure and simple essence of the Gallery's mission when he
states, "Our artwork is not created for ego or fame,
but to help elevate ourselves to a higher spiritual level."
We believe in the freedom that comes with the magic of creation and expression, but
that is often overlooked by too many people in the world.

Toby
Walker
"Flat out... you have to hear this
great musician... I'm blown away" - Jorma Kaukonen - Hot
Tuna, Jefferson Airplane, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Inductee
"A real killer with fantastic technique. He just knocks me
out."
- John Hammond, blues musician
"An acoustic gem" - London Sunday Times
"Strong originals, finely modulated voice and precise guitar
playing - Walker is commited to honest communication"
- Downbeat Magazine
"Out of the many teaching artists we have worked with, you
are one of the best at striking a nice balance between
explaining and playing music" - Mark Burford - Weill
Institue at Carnegie Hall
"I think the record (Hand Picked) is brilliant. Great
playing, great singing, great tunes and great sound.
Congratulations on a wonderful job." - Larry Campbell -
sideman to Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, Phil Lesh and Lifetime
Achievement Instrumentalist Award Winner.
"As a blues guitar player, I am stunned and in awe of Toby
Walker's pickin'! Not only does he master diverse blues
styles, but plays them with both flash and depth. That's the
advanced class -- few players can do both. Add to that his
fine songs and singing and friendly presentation, and it's
obvious that Toby Walker is one of the most enjoyable
artists in today's Blues World." - Steady Rollin' Bob
Margolin, blues musician
"Toby Walker is that rare performer that takes your breath
away. In my book he's in a class by himself. Standards and
originals are played with flawless blues guitar technique
and sung with gutsy panache. A showstopper and ringtail
roarer."- David Massengill

Mary
Samuels
Mary
Samuels is a successful Long Island artist,
both in fine art and decorative art. Working
primarily in watercolor and acrylic, Mary's
style is impressionistic. Her work is mostly
inspired by nature: gardens in sunlight,
trees, flowers, ponds find their way into
her repertoire of work.
As she recently said, "Nature feeds my soul.
I come alive in spring. The colors just
beckon to be painted. I don't try to paint
anything too tight or exact. I like a more
impressionistic approach. I paint
emotion—feelings—as opposed to trying to
duplicate something such as a flower that is
already perfect in reality." As of late,
Mary has been painting a series of abstract
"colorscapes." Still inspired by nature, she
is deliberately painting
non-representational fields of color just
for the joy of painting—they're all pure
emotion."

Historical Society
The Society was founded in 1958 by a small group of Bellport
residents and in 1964 received its full state charter. It is
a not-for-profit organization devoted to the preservation
and interpretation of Long Island's past, and particularly
the history of the Bellport, Brookhaven and East Patchogue
area. The Society pursues this goal through its museum, the
historic Post-Crowell House and the buildings that make up
the Museum Complex. The Society provides gallery
exhibitions, museum exhibits and educational programs to the
community. Its publication of studies on local history and
culture provide knowledge and insight into the cultural
inheritance of the area. A major purpose of the Society is
the preservation of Long Island antiquities and historic

manuscripts, maps, postcards and other memorabilia is on
permanent display and available to historians, researchers
